Basic Second Season Outfit
Other than a subtle shirt change, Blue's basic outfit remains unchanged from the first season and he doesn't have any special outfits.  The picture on the left below, from "Buffalo Soldiers", shows how much the men's outfits vary, except for Blue and John whose outfits are very similar.  You can see the reversed brown/black belt combinations and different colored bandanas, but otherwise they look nearly identical, especially when compared to the other men.

The Shirt
Blue's shirt in the second season is a similar cut and style as the first season, but the stripe is wider and the colored stripe is slightly bluer than the maroon shirt of the last season.  In "Feather of an Eagle" part of this shirt is used by his Apache captors to send a message to the Cannon family.  We never seem to notice this rather large piece missing later, however.

The Vest and Bandana

Blue's vest and bandana remain unchanged, except that his vest is appropriately more worn and weathered looking than the first season.  He continues to wear his bandana knotted simply and tied loosely in a variety of positions.

Blue's hat from the first season cruises through most of the second in fine shape, but towards the end of the second season the hat appears with a hole in it.

The hole appears without explanation in "A Fella Named Kilroy" and continues through the rest of the second season in "No Bugles, No Drums", "The Lion Sleeps", "Feather of an Eagle", and "For the Love of Carlos".

Buck in Blue's hat.

In "A Fella Named Kilroy", when the boys return from a rousing night in Tucson, Buck and Blue ride in wearing each other's hats.  Blue has Buck's hat on backwards but we can tell from the hole in Blue's hat that Buck at least has it on facing forward.

The Union Suit
In the second season Blue is shown twice in a full union suit.  In the first and third seasons his underwear preference was for two-piece pink long johns.

The Poncho

In the second season we still occasionally see Blue in the green poncho that he wore in the first season.  In "Ebenezer" he wears it without a shirt underneath.

The Chaps

In three episodes below Blue appears in fringed chaps.  Because they are very nearly the color of his pants, it is sometimes difficult to spot them, but the fringes are the give-away.  He is also in chaps in "For the Love of Carlos".

In what could be a minor wardrobe malfunction, Blue's shirt is neatly tucked in while he is tied up.  When Terza returns to free him the shirt is untucked before he gets his hands free.
